Companion apps

Recommended apps for learning, focus, and everyday tasks.

A small collection of apps we make or recommend to help students, teachers, parents, and everyday learners stay organized, compare information, and build better routines.

What you'll find here

Practical apps

Every app here solves one real everyday problem — focus, calm routines, smarter shopping, or a family reading habit — not a long feature list.

Privacy-conscious picks

We favor apps that are upfront about what they collect and don't require an account just to get started.

Clear caveats

App details like pricing and features can change, so we always point you to the official App Store listing.

Apps we reach for ourselves

Overthink Less: Calm Mind app icon

Overthink Less: Calm Mind

Breathwork, sleep wind-down, and gentle reframing for a racing mind.

Health & FitnessiPhone & iPadFree, with in-app purchases

For the nights your mind won't slow down. Overthink Less offers short breathing sessions, a calm sleep wind-down, a quiet place to dump racing thoughts, and simple prompts for reframing anxious thinking. It's built as a gentle companion for stressful moments — not a replacement for therapy or medical care.

Best for: Winding down before bed, catching a spiral before it grows, and building a five-minute calm habit.

ShopCalc - Real Price app icon

ShopCalc - Real Price

Compare unit prices, stack discounts, and see the real total before you buy.

ShoppingiPhone & iPadFree

ShopCalc helps you shop smarter. Compare two package sizes side by side, stack multiple coupons to see the real final price, work out whether a BOGO or multi-buy deal is actually the better one, and estimate a basket total before you reach the register. It's built for the everyday moment of doing the math in your head.

Best for: Grocery runs, back-to-school shopping, and comparing deals before checkout.

BookNest: Family Reading Log app icon

BookNest: Family Reading Log

Track reading time, build streaks, and turn books into a family routine.

EducationiPhone & iPadFree

BookNest helps families build a reading habit together. Track reading time for each child, keep a shared bookshelf of what's being read, finished, and on the wishlist, and generate simple weekly reading reports you can share with a teacher or tutor. It's built as a calm home base for reading — not a school system, and not officially connected to any school.

Best for: Family reading lists, book tracking, reading goals, and keeping a simple personal library.

Why these apps

A small, separate list — not a Classeem tool

Classeem focuses on printable learning resources and browser-based classroom tools. These apps are companion products for people who also want helpful mobile tools for focus, planning, shopping, and everyday decisions — nothing here runs inside Classeem itself.

Good to know

Frequently asked questions

Are these apps free?

All three apps are free to download. Overthink Less offers optional in-app purchases for additional content; ShopCalc and BookNest are free to use. Check each App Store listing for current pricing.

Are these apps made by the Classeem team?

These are apps we personally use and recommend — separate products from Classeem's worksheets and browser-based classroom tools, each built and maintained by its own developer.

Do I need an account?

No. None of these apps require an account just to get started. Some deeper features in Overthink Less are unlocked with an optional in-app purchase.

Are they available on Android?

Not currently — all three apps are iPhone and iPad only right now. If that changes, the App Store listing will reflect it.

Can I suggest an app idea?

Yes. If there's a mobile app you wish existed for teachers, parents, or students, let us know through our contact page.
