Your work stays on your device

The tools run entirely in your browser. Scores, names, and anything else you type to build a worksheet or calculate a grade are never uploaded to a server unless you choose to, in one of three ways described below: saving a setup to an optional account (by pressing Save, or by leaving the optional auto-save on after you print or download; only the sheet's settings, never the words or names you typed), saving a word list with “Save list” (the words in that list are stored in your account), or sending us a message. Close the tab and that data is gone, unless you choose “Save as class list” in a classroom tool, “Save result” in the Reading Fluency Check or “Keep this timetable on this device”, which keep that data in this browser only (never on our servers) until you forget it.

No account required, no ads

Every tool works fully without signing up — nothing you type to build a worksheet or calculate a grade requires an account, and most people never create one. We don't run ads and we don't use cross-site advertising trackers.

Optional free account (My Classeem)

Creating a free account adds a personal My Classeem dashboard. Your email address is the only required field when you sign up (choosing how you use Classeem, such as teacher or parent, is optional) — we use the email solely to send you a one-time sign-in link and never for marketing unless you explicitly opt in (see “Email preferences” below). If Google sign-in is offered and you choose it, Google also shares your basic profile (such as your name and profile picture) with our sign-in service. An account is an adult account for the teacher, tutor, parent, or homeschooler running the classroom or session — it is not a student profile, and we don't ask for or store student names, rosters, or other private classroom content to make it work.

A My Classeem account can store:

• Library items — a generator's structured settings (like a bingo card's size or a worksheet's difficulty) you explicitly hit Save on, plus the name you give the saved item and, if you add them, a short class or child tag, a note and a planned weekday — never the actual words, names, or other content you typed into a tool (keep tags and notes general; they are not meant for student names or grades). With auto-save on (the default for accounts created from 2026-10-06, off until you turn it on for older accounts; a switch in Account settings and on every auto-save notice), the same settings-only record is kept for the latest setup of a tool after you print or download; it is updated in place, never duplicated, and can be undone
• Saved word lists — a spelling or vocabulary list you explicitly save with “Save list” on a word tool (never offered on tools that take names; keep lists to words, not student names)
• Lesson kits — a lesson plan you save on the Prepare a lesson page: the topic, grade and length, the Classeem pages and written routines you chose for each step, your early-finisher choices and the kit's name. Nothing about students
• Favorite tools — which tools you've pinned
• Learning Path progress — which guided path steps you've completed, derived from your own real usage (printing, downloading, or finishing a game)
• Recent activity — a short record of which tools you've used recently, so My Classeem can help you pick up where you left off
• Account preferences and optional details — your display name, language, how you use Classeem (e.g. teacher/tutor/parent), your email preferences below, and, only if you choose to fill them in, your country, city, school or organization, and the grades and subjects you work with (shown only to you; clear them anytime)
• Welcome answers — if you answer the short, optional questions after your first sign-in: what you want to do first and, in your own words, what you want to get done with Classeem (please don't include student names). These are shown to you in Account settings and, in aggregate and as the text you typed, to the people who run Classeem to improve it. They are never used for advertising and are deleted with your account.

Account authentication and this data are handled by Supabase, and email (sign-in links, and any optional email described below) is delivered by Resend.

You can update your account details or permanently delete your account at any time from Account settings. Deleting your account removes your profile, every saved Library item, your favorites, your Learning Path progress, your activity history, your email preferences, your questionnaire answers, the record of which welcome emails were sent to you, your entry on our mailing list, and your sign-in identity from our database. Limited copies can persist for a short time in our service providers' routine backups and logs until they expire, and emails you have already sent us (such as feedback) are kept separately.

Email preferences

Sign-in links are essential/transactional email — they always send, and aren't optional. Beyond that, account holders can separately opt in, from Account settings, to occasional “product tips & Classeem updates” email and/or “research & feedback invitations” email. Both default to off at signup — creating an account is never treated as consent to marketing email — and each can be turned off again at any time from the same page.

If you opt in to product tips, you may receive a short welcome series — four emails in your first week (around days 1, 3, 5 and 7) — and otherwise only the occasional tip. Every one of these emails has a one-click unsubscribe link. When you opt in, your email address and preferred language are added to our mailing list at Resend so the emails go out in your language; opting out, unsubscribing, or deleting your account removes you from that list.

Feedback and contact submissions

If you use the Contact page or the My Classeem “Help us improve” questionnaire, what you type is sent by email (via Resend, linked above) to our support inbox. Contact-page messages live only in that delivered email. Answers to the signed-in questionnaire are also saved to your account so we can tally them; they are deleted with your account. We only use the contact details you choose to include; an email address is only required if you ask for a reply.

Affiliate links

Some tool pages include an optional “Helpful supplies” section that links to classroom and maker supplies on Amazon. These are affiliate links, which means we may earn a small commission if you buy something, at no extra cost to you. We only suggest supplies we think are genuinely useful, and you never have to use these links.

As an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases. Amazon and the Amazon logo are trademarks of Amazon.com, Inc. or its affiliates. Amazon does not sponsor, endorse, or have any affiliation with Classeem. These links are plain text searches and never send anything you type into a tool.

Basic analytics with Google Analytics

To understand which pages and tools are useful, we use Google Analytics for basic, aggregate measurement: pageviews (for example, how many people visited the grade calculator) and a few usage events that say a tool was used — a worksheet printed or downloaded, a calculator run, a game round started, finished or replayed, with the game mode played. Each event carries only the page's route and those fixed tokens. This may set first-party analytics cookies in your browser. We keep the same basic, aggregate measurement in our own database as well — which pages and tools are used, in which language and from which referring site — without cookies and without any personal details, for 13 months. When a teacher shares a page through a class link (classeem.com/s/…), visits that arrive through it carry that link's code, so the teacher sees totals — opens, starts, finishes, prints and downloads — never who opened it.

The things you type into a tool stay in your browser and are never sent to Google Analytics. We do not send worksheet values, grade values, scores, names, or any content you generate. For account holders, a handful of structural events (like “an item was saved to your Library”) are also recorded the same privacy-safe way — never your email, name, or a saved item's title or settings, only that the action happened.

Service providers

Classeem runs on a few service providers: Vercel hosts the website and, like any web host, processes technical request data (such as IP address and browser type) in its routine logs and security tools; Supabase runs accounts and stores account data and our own cookieless usage records; Resend delivers email; Google Analytics measures aggregate use (described above); and Google takes part in sign-in only if you choose to sign in with Google. If you follow an affiliate link, Amazon receives that visit under its own privacy policy.

Cookies and local storage

See the Cookie Policy for the full list of what's stored in your browser — in short: Google Analytics' own analytics cookies, an account holder's Supabase sign-in cookies, a small record of when the account invitation was shown or dismissed so it doesn't reappear too often (and, only if you click it, what you asked to keep until you're signed in), in games a per-tab list of recently played rounds so replays don't repeat, and, only if you save one, a class list kept in this browser for the classroom tools.

Pinterest API and Pinterest publishing

Classeem may use the Pinterest API to help publish original Classeem educational content to the official Classeem Pinterest Business account.

This integration is used only by Classeem administrators. It is not a public user feature and it is not used to access Pinterest accounts belonging to visitors, teachers, parents, students, or other users.

The Pinterest integration may access the authenticated Classeem Pinterest account's own boards and Pins in order to:

• identify the correct board for a Classeem Pin
• create Pins on Classeem's own boards
• add titles, descriptions, alt text, and links to Classeem worksheet pages
• track which Classeem Pins were created to avoid duplicates

Classeem does not collect Pinterest usernames, passwords, session cookies, or login credentials. Authentication is handled through Pinterest's OAuth flow. Classeem does not access Pinterest data from other users' accounts.

The integration uses only original Classeem-generated images, screenshots, titles, descriptions, and links to real pages on classeem.com. It does not upload third-party copyrighted images and it does not manage Pinterest advertising campaigns.

Any Pinterest API credentials or tokens used for this integration are stored securely and are not shared publicly.
