Tips for better results
Use short items for younger students
Short words and a 3 by 3 grid keep cards readable and the game moving for early learners.
Add enough words for the grid
A 5 by 5 card needs at least 24 items, so give the tool a generous list for plenty of variety.
Generate a full class set
Make several unique cards at once so every student gets a different board for a fair game.
Match the size to the age
Use 3 by 3 for younger learners and 5 by 5 for older students who can handle a bigger board.
Use the free space
A centered free space gives everyone an easy start and is a classic part of a bingo card.
Print a test page first
Print one page to check the size and spacing before you print a full set for the whole class.
How the bingo card maker works
Type one bingo item per line. The tool trims spaces, skips blank lines, tidies the spacing, and can remove duplicates, while keeping your text exactly as you wrote it, including names, numbers, and short phrases.
To build each card, the tool shuffles your items and fills the grid, using a different shuffle for every card so each student gets a unique board with no repeated items. On odd-sized grids you can add a centered free space. Press Regenerate for a brand-new set using the same items and settings.
Everything happens on your device, so you can make as many cards as you like, instantly and for free. If there aren't enough items for the card size you chose, the tool tells you how many more you need.
Private by design
- No account and no sign-up. Just open it and start.
- Everything runs on your device, so the items you enter and the bingo cards you create stays with you.
- Nothing you create is uploaded. No values, names, scores, or generated content are sent to our servers.
- We use Google Analytics only for basic, anonymous pageview counts. It never receives what you enter into the tool.
Frequently asked questions
Is the bingo card maker free?
Yes, completely free, with no account and no limit on how many cards you make. There's no watermark on the printed cards.
Can I print bingo cards?
Yes. Use the Print button to send your cards straight to the printer. The cards print cleanly, with two per page, and nothing else from the web page is included.
Can I download a PDF?
Yes. Download a clean PDF built right on your device, with two cards per page so a class set is easy to print and hand out.
How many bingo cards can I make?
You can generate 1, 2, 4, 8, 12, or 24 cards at once, and each one is shuffled differently. Press Regenerate any time for a fresh set.
Can I use phrases, not just single words?
Yes. Type one item per line and short phrases work well. Longer phrases wrap to fit inside the cell, though shorter items are easiest to read on a card.
What is the free space option?
The free space is a center square that is already marked for everyone. It's a classic bingo feature and gives students an easy start. It's available on 3 by 3 and 5 by 5 grids, which have a true center.
Are my words uploaded or saved anywhere?
No. The cards are built entirely on your device, and the PDF is created there too, so your word list is never uploaded or stored on a server.
What makes a good classroom bingo card?
A focused list of items on one topic, enough words to fill the grid with variety, short readable text, and a unique card for each student. A free space and a clear title round it out.
