How the math maze adventure works
Each maze is carved with a randomized spanning-tree algorithm, which guarantees every cell connects to every other cell by exactly one path — the maze is solvable by construction, not by chance.
A handful of edges along the true path to the flag are chosen as math gates. Crossing a gate for the first time requires a correct answer; once solved, that passage stays open for the rest of the maze.
A wrong gate answer swaps in a new question from a small pre-generated set for that same gate, so retrying never just repeats the same four choices.
