Halloween activities FAQ

What grade levels are these Halloween activities for?

Kindergarten through grade 5. The word search has lists for K–1, grades 2–3, and grades 4–5; the math word problems have Easy (grades 1–2), Standard (grades 3–4), and Challenge (grades 4–5) levels; and the bingo cards come in 3 × 3 for the youngest players up to 5 × 5.

Are these activities scary?

No. The words and stories stick to pumpkins, bats, costumes, candy, and paper decorations. There is nothing gory or frightening, so they suit a mixed classroom.

Some of my students don't celebrate Halloween. Is there another option?

Yes. The word search and the bingo cards both include a Fall harvest list with no Halloween words: apples, acorns, hayrides, scarecrows, and so on. You can also type your own list into the Word Search Maker or the Bingo Card Maker.

Do the worksheets include an answer key?

Yes. The word search and the math word problems print with an answer key on a separate page, and the PDF includes it too. The bingo tab shows a call list you can print with the cards and check off as you go.

Can I make more than one version?

Yes. Every activity has a New version button that rebuilds the puzzle, problems, or cards from the same list, so students sitting side by side don't get identical sheets.

Is it free, and do I need an account?

It's free and there's no sign-up. Everything is generated in your browser, and you can print directly or download a PDF.
